I’m a bit late in sending
this out but I got sidetracked at work.
I jumped the gun a bit last week when I reported that we would be
resuming normal newsletter publication as of June 3rd. It seems I neglected to check my
calendar and didn’t realize that this week was Crusade
week.
Regardless of Bob’s
association or lack thereof with WHAS, many team members are involved with the
Crusade, especially Ed and Kyle (who both work for WHAS TV and, incidentally,
host our remailer and website on ucanweb.com). With their hectic schedule over the last
few weeks during the run up to this weekend’s fund raiser they haven’t really
had much time to do anything to the website. That’s not a big deal as far as the
newsletter is concerned other than there are no links to subscribe or
unsubscribe currently available.
While that doesn’t sound all
that important on it’s face I’m reluctant to publish anything like the old
newsletter that didn’t give our readers an “out”. After all, some of those rants got a bit
ugly ;) Plus for readers who enjoy
the NL I like to have a link they can pass along to friends so they can sign
up.
It’s coming back, it’s just
going to be a little later than I had planned ;)
On another note, I must
thank you for the overwhelming response to last week’s update. I was absolutely flooded with email
supporting our limited return and positive hopes for some sort of media outlet
soon.
I really wanted to respond
to each one but honestly I was so snowed under I just couldn’t squeeze them all
in. If I didn’t send you an email I
want to take this opportunity to thank you. Every email you sent was forwarded to
the group for all to appreciate.
The listeners and readers are the only reason we’re here and you folks
are the best J

week, either a full newsletter or another interim update, but I will keep you
informed. Again, I want to convey
my sincere thanks to everyone who has listened or who reads the NL. You guys give us the impetus to
